About the event
Hello, and welcome! We at the University of York's HEMA Society are pleased to announce the start of the Northumbrian League! We've been working hard to plan this event, and are thrilled to finally announce it to the public.
This year's tournament will be held in the main hall at York Sport on the west campus of the University of York, and will feature Open tournaments in Longsword, Sword & Buckler, Rapier, as well as simulated Harnischfechten. There will also be Womens+ categories for S&B, Rapier, and Longsword.
We will be providing links for equipment and tournament rules shortly; these will be the same as the ones set by Wessex League for their events (excluding harnischfechten). We will also post a link to the Discord server that we have for the event in order to facilitate faster communication and help get volunteers for staff.
